Currently recruiting Assistant Food & Beverage Manager 4* Waterford. Role is to manage, lead and develop the F&B team in our Clients 4* Waterford Hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Food & Beverage Manager in managing all aspects of the food and beverage operations.
The position requires a keen eye for detail to deliver a high standard of food & beverage service consistently. You will have exceptional attention to detail, the ability of communicate fluently in English, excellent customer care and interpersonal skill.
Job requirements
Assisting the Food & Beverage Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, bar, and banquet facilities.
- Provide leadership and facilitate a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all.
- Observe all opening / closing procedures.
- Maintaining and ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and Hygiene regulations.
- Ensuring that all food and beverage products are of high quality, properly prepared and presented, and served in a timely manner.
- Overseeing the training and development of food and beverage staff, including performance management.
- Managing customer issues and concerns, and taking appropriate corrective action when necessary.
- Ensuring that all food and beverage equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
- Assisting with the coordination and execution of banquets and events.
- Working closely with and be involved the hotel teams in Sales, H&S, Customer Care & Sustainability
- Cover DM Shifts to include nights if necessary.
Attributes for the role

- Experience in all aspects of F&B - including conferences, weddings, banquets, restaurant & Bar
- Experience in Rostering, Purchasing, ordering, stock, tills and cash management needed.
- Excellent communication, leadership and management skills. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service and preparation.
- Reliable, committed, motivated and above all professional person.
- To accept flexible work schedule necessary for uninterrupted service to Hotel guests
- To provide support where necessary in other areas of the Hotel
Applicants require 2+ years experience in a similar role in busy 4/5* Hotel
Candidates will require current legal status to live and work in Ireland without restrictions
