Front of House Manager 5* Hotel Co Cork, The successful candidate will be required to work 5/7 days per week as a member of the senior Management team
Responsibilities:
· Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Front Office, Concierge and Overnight team ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of the Department.
· Foster a culture of exceptional guest service by providing leadership, guidance, and training to front-line day and night staff, ensuring adherence to established standards and procedures.
· Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless coordination and communication, particularly with Housekeeping, Reservations, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage departments.
· Lead recruitment, training, and performance evaluation efforts for Front Office, Concierge and Overnight team members, fostering a positive and cohesive work environment.
· Implement and maintain effective systems and procedures for front desk operations, including check-in/check-out processes, guest registration, room assignments, and billing procedures.
· Actively engage with guests to address any concerns or special requests, striving to exceed their expectations and cultivate loyalty.
· Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, providing insights into departmental performance, challenges, changes and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in hotel operations, with a focus on Front Office Management.
· Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate, inspire, and mentor a diverse team.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-centric mindset.
· Proficiency in Hotsoft property management systems (PMS), reservation software, and other relevant technology platforms.
· Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, remaining calm and composed under challenging circumstances.
· The successful candidate must be legally entitled to work variable shifts on a full-time basis in Ireland.
