Head Chef required for well known 4* Hotel in Co Kerry

• As Head Chef your are responsible for all aspects of managing the kitchen areas and personnel, ensuring the quality preparation of all menu items to the highest standards
• Co-ordinates roster scheduling, control labour costs, assist with recruitment and overseeing staff productivity and performance
• Hands on role for a creative Head Chef who wants to be part of something a little special !
• Passionate and creative person required who enjoys developing and implementing new menu ideas for Restaurant, small Events, Private Groups etc.
• To promote and nurture positive work relationships with suppliers, service personnel and other departments
• To ensure that HACCP is implemented and documented efficiently, ensuring that all standards are maintained, reduce food and energy wastage in the Kitchens
• To help develop and foster a team spirit amongst the kitchen staff to maintain a cohesive team,
• To report regularly to the General Manager and to review kitchen team performance, staffing, purchases etc. and implement required changes
• Oversee and direct training of any new hires and maintain an on-going training program for existing Kitchen staff
• Property is open all year and Client is an equal opportunities employer, role is available immediately - current legal status to live in Ireland is required, 4/5* Hotel or high end Restaurant experience in a similar role required, interviews will be in person at the premises.
