Reservations Manager 5* Hotel Cork

We are currently recruiting Reservations Manager for a leading 5* Hotel in Cork

Responsibilities:

• To engage and manage in the day to day operation of the reservations office
• Responsible for the achievement of accommodation revenue targets and the hotel’s total revenue targets.
• Responsible for the ensuring that departmental procedures and standards are adhered to and for the development and implementation of new procedures and systems where required / appropriate
• To manage the enquiry handling system from initial enquiry, to contracting and handover to operations prior to arrival.
• Responsible for ensuring that all enquiries are responded professionally, using the departmental standards and within the departmental time standard so that sales and revenue are maximised.
• To fully paticipate in specific departmental training and learning opportunities.
• To maintain & develop management information systems.
• Attend hotel training when required.
• To ensure that all tasks on the reservations daily check list are completed by team members prior to the reservations department closing each day.

Skills & Attributes Required

• 2 Years previous reservations management experience in a leading 4/5* Hotel.
• Outgoing personality with the ability to build strong relationships
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent time management and organisation skills
• High standard of customer care with good problems solving ability
• Self-motivated with a desire to succeed in a challenging environment
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Fluency in English is essential
• Required to work flexible hours.
