Spa Manager 5* Hotel Cork

We are currently recruiting experienced Spa Manager for a 5* Hotel in Cork City. The Beautique Spa is an award-winning 5-star Spa that prides itself on delivering an exceptional guest experience in a tranquil and luxurious environment. What we take our greatest pride in is the level to which we offer personalised treatments . Our intention with every treatment is to ensure that it is bespoke and individual to every guest, at the expert hands of each therapist. The Beautique facilities include five individually designed treatment rooms, an indoor swimming pool, steam room, and outdoor Jacuzzi along with our intimate relaxation lounge.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Spa Manager to lead our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our award-winning spa. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in spa management, a strong leadership ability, and a deep understanding of guest service excellence. As the Spa Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, achieving business goals, and delivering an outstanding customer experience in line with our brand values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily spa operations, ensuring efficient and effective management of staff, services, and facilities.
• Manage spa schedules, including staff assignments and treatment appointments, ensuring optimal guest satisfaction.
• Hire, lead, mentor, and motivate a team of spa therapists, receptionists, and support staff to ensure top-quality service.
• Develop and implement spa policies, procedures, and standards to maintain consistency and excellence.
• Conduct regular training sessions to keep the team up to date with the latest spa techniques and industry trends.
• Monitor and manage budgets, inventory, and financial reports to achieve revenue targets and ensure profitability.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Conduct regular training for staff to maintain high standards of service and product knowledge.
• Maintain and enhance the spa’s reputation by ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are consistently met.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop promotions and enhance guest engagement.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, treatments, and wellness offerings.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, staff, and suppliers.
• Ensure that all guests enjoy a truly exceptional Spa experience by providing a luxurious experience, going above and beyond and inspiring the team to do the same.
• Conduct regular quality assessments to ensure all spa services meet or exceed the hotel's five-star standards.

The Beautique Spa is both proud and honoured to be the flagship hotel for GROUND Wellbeing and The Beautique Spa was the first Elemis Spa in Ireland. Knowledge of these brands is a plus.

-Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Spa Manager or similar role in a luxury or 5-star spa environment.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of spa services, treatments, and wellness trends.
• Excellent customer service skills with a passion for exceeding guest expectations.
• Ability to manage budgets and financial reports.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Proficiency in spa management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in spa management or wellness are a plus.
• ITEC/CIDESCO/CIBTAC qualifications.
• Familiarity with Trybe spa software and Opera Cloud a plus.
