Wedding & Events Sales Executive 4* Hotel Waterford

We are currently recruiting Weddings and Events Sales Executive for a 4* Hotel in Waterford

Scope of Position:

Working in conjunction with the hotel Sales and Marketing manager, the Wedding & Events Sales Executive will be responsible for maximising the food & beverage, Wedding/ Events and Conference/Meeting sales potential and overall performance of these business segments. The candidate should be pro-active and energetic with a proven track record in achieving sales targets and the ability to effectively execute a focussed sales plan for the agreed market segments.

· Maximize revenue through selling Weddings and Events /Conference rooms as much as possible while allowing for turnover

· Monitor and chase any provisional status bookings, ensuring that contracts are signed and returned within a reasonable timeframe

· Meet clients on day of arrival and handover to the Operations team

· The accurate posting of charges on accounts during the working week. Monitor payments, billing, and pre-payments

· To coordinate arrangements and share feedback from Weddings / conferences / dining events with the hotel management team

· To attend exhibitions, corporate events, consumer shows, and client meetings as requested

· Input into F&B and Meetings budget

• Identify key competitors and carry out regular competitive analysis. Monitoring their performance, rates and sales activity for food & beverage and meeting rooms
• Input into quarterly activity plans to create focus and adapt activity to support business needs
• Conduct weekly promotional activity to businesses in the locality to promote dining, meetings & events Assist with all F&B and M&E advertising for the hotel
• Assist with all F&B and M&E print material adhering to brand guidelines
• Assist with the monthly social media plan and post each week, keep update on increase likes / fans for Food & Beverage and Meeting Rooms
