HR Business Partner
Role Summary
Sanderson is recruiting for an experienced HR Business Partner for a fixed term contract for 12 Months responsible for supporting colleagues and senior management on all people related initiatives as aligned to the overall Business strategy. You will ensure alignment across operations & back office functions in the day to day business activities to the overall people agenda, this role will ensure the highest levels of capability, engagement, performance and accountability are achieved. You will be based in the head office on a hybrid basis, with occasional travel to the Lisburn plant.
This role will be responsible for all aspects of HR activities including resourcing, compensation and benefits, learning and development, engagement, retention and employee relations.
Key Duties
- Contribute to and support the delivery of the HR strategy in line with business objectives, taking personal responsibility for shaping implementation plans
- Manage all formal and informal employee relations issues with a best practice solution orientated mind set. Act as an employee advocate whilst maintaining commercial focus
- Drive and deliver HR initiatives to support business needs and in line with the HR strategy, including talent development, employee engagement, management development and organisational change
- Work in partnership with the leadership teams to identify opportunities and areas of improvement in organisational and people performance in line with business needs
- Support in driving efficiencies in cost by identifying opportunities and creating HR plans to support successfully realising any cost saving potential
- To take the HR lead in working parties and project teams, promoting best practice and sound innovation in dealing with challenging people situations
- Agreeing project scope and effective project management through to delivery of project outcomes
- Contribute to the design & shaping of people initiatives, that span across all layers in the organisation and leading on their implementation
Qualifications & Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years' HR Business Partner experience
- At least 3 years experience of delivering performance management programmes resulting in significant improvements to an organisation.
- A strong working knowledge of employment legislation and best practice in Ireland
- Have experience of managing people and evidence of successfully leading an organisational change programme.
- Have a proven track record of developing people within a business.
- Evidence of ownership and involvement in M&A activity
- Working knowledge of TMS will be an advantage
