Data Analytics Team Lead
Sanderson is working with a global logistics company and they're looking for a data analytics team lead to join their team.
Roles and Responsibilities
Team Management:

• Supervise daily tasks of a team, ensuring proper shift coverage for global operations.
• Recruit and develop team members dedicated to delivering exceptional service.
• Implement training programs and promote continuous learning.

Performance and Development:

• Conduct performance evaluations, provide regular feedback, and identify development areas.
• Support the G-LOC operation growth in collaboration with the Head G-LOC.

Operational Excellence:

• Manage Data Warehouse (DWH) development, data modeling, and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with business teams to create data-driven solutions and visualisations (using Tableau).
• Handle operational DWH tasks (performance tuning, security, backups).

Process and Analysis:

• Develop and maintain processes and documentation.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions, providing data-driven recommendations.
• Run analysis projects and gather intelligence on team needs.

Qualifications and Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or significant experience in freight forwarding with a data analytics focus.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, data visualisation tools, and programming languages (Python, R, etc.).
• Experience with Lean Management, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma (Green Belt) is a plus.
• Familiarity with analytics platforms (Power BI, Qlikview, Tableau) and data quality principles.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Fluent in English; additional languages (French, Spanish, German, Chinese) are a plus.
• Experience working in global, multicultural teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly to Endress+Hauser locations.
• Driver's license is advantageous.
