Logistics Project Manager

Sanderson have teamed up with a global technology company to recruit a Logistics Project Manager on a permanent basis to help their build out their Global Transportation Network.
The successful candidate will help establish a new Project Management Office in the Global Logistics Operations Centre to expand and enhance the global transportation network.

Responsibilities:

Team leadership

• Supervise and organise a team.
• Manage shift systems for global and local requirements.
• Recruit and develop team members.
• Implement training and induction processes.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.

Operational:

• Manage projects to set up global hubs and TMP infrastructure.
• Oversee all aspects of project delivery.
• Develop project plans, goals, budgets and schedules.
• Strategic analysis and manage all project phases.
• Prepare and oversee project communications and risk management plans.

Experience :

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Computer Science, information systems or related Field
• 8-12 years in Logistics Project Management
• Experience with TMP and Carrier integration.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (waterfall & Agile) and Lean Six Sigma
• Experience supervising a team and delivering successful projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent documentation skills
• Additional languages are an advantage.
• Effective communication and facilitator
• Experience in multi-cultural, global teams and matrix organisations.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Driver's license is beneficial.
