Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor - Kildare
Sanderson is working with one of Ireland's largest privately owned Agri Businesses/FMCG and they're looking for a production supervisor to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead production team to achieve targets, manage overtime with Plant Manager.
• Attend daily production meetings and address issues.
• Manage attendance, timekeeping, overtime, and leave.
• Delegate and organise work to meet production targets for output, waste, yield, and efficiency.
• Ensure quality and production targets are met and delivery requirements are satisfied.
• Facilitate effective communication within the department and with other departments.
• Conduct employee appraisals and performance reviews.
• Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions with Plant Manager/HR.
• Escalate problems to Plant Manager as needed.
• Review production/management data for compliance.
• Ensure first off/final checks are completed online.
• Monitor and control production tools, probes, and machine parts.
• Manage energy conservation and waste segregation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic work area and machines.
• Ensure equipment operation and staff training adherence.
• Adhere to hygiene, safety procedures, and quality systems.
• Offer suggestions for process improvement and update SOPs.
• Ensure products meet specifications and the 'get it right first time' motto.
• Minimise ingredient/finished product waste.
• Liaise with maintenance and Plant Manager on issues.
• Ensure continuous supply of materials to production line.

Skills/Qualifications/Experience:

• Proficiency in company software, Excel, and Word.
• Knowledge of company processes, procedures, and quality systems.
