Sea-Fisheries Protection Officers (SFPO) Castletownbere, Co. Cork | €40,973-7 €74,172

Role involves various front-line duties including:

• Conducting inspections on fishing vessels, processing facilities, and seafood businesses.
• Sampling fish and shellfish, collecting evidence, and validating surveillance data.
• Compiling formal statements for potential prosecutions.
• Gathering and verifying fisheries statistics and serving as a public contact for inquiries

To be eligble for this role, you must:

• Hold a minimum qualification of a National Diploma Level 7 in a discipline relevant to the work of the Sea-Fisheries Protection Authority
• Excellent planning and organisation ability
• Excellent communication and administration skills
• Fluent spoken and written English is absolutely essential
• Strong IT capability
• Full driving licence
