Foresters and Forestry Technicians Required

SWS Forestry is recruiting foresters and those with an interest in working in forestry in all counties, with the Midlands and South East of particular interest.

Suitable candidates will generally work in their local areas and will ideally have a background in agriculture or forestry, be commercially focussed and capable of working autonomously.

The roles will include:

• Project management of forest establishment and maintenance
• Management of harvesting, timber marketing and inventory
• Coordinating forest road building
• Site inspections, report writing and other paperwork
• Coordination of contractors and suppliers
• Business generation
• GIS, carbon assessment and biodiversity habitats knowledge desirable
