Job Description: As a Senior Chef de Partie at The Green 1918, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality dishes and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. You will work with our Head Chef to maintain our standards of excellence and to innovate our menu offerings. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who is enthusiastic about food and eager to progress in their career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency and presentation standards.
  • Assist in menu planning, development and innovation.
  • Supervise junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a busy restaurant environment.
  • Strong passion for food and culinary innovation.
  • Excellent communication skills and professionalism.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Must provide contactable references from previous employers.
  • Relevant qualifications, including HACCP certification.
  • Own transport preferred.

Job Type: Full-time, minimum 39 hours per week. 

Pay: €34,000 per year.
