The Iveagh Trust seeks a Communications Officer to join our team in our Dublin City Centre, Head Office.
Responsibilities
• Support the design and delivery of a communications framework to support the strategic objectives and culture of The Trust.
• Lead the graphic design content for our website and social media platforms.
• Lead the day-to-day external communications and media relations of The Iveagh Trust.
• Contribute to maintaining the unique brand of The Iveagh Trust
• Create engaging content to profile the work of The Iveagh Trust, across various channels and platforms.
• Monitor and report on content effectiveness, reach and engagement.
• Produce impactful and informative publications, newsletters, website, social media, annual reports and other material.
• Maintain The Iveagh Trust’s online presence through website and social media platforms.
Key Competencies and Skills
• Excellent communicator
• High level of digital literacy
• Proficiency in content creation tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator Photoshop, Audition, Premier Pro, Canva, HubSpot and WordPress.
• Capability to confidently build and develop positive working relationships both within and outside the organisation
• Fluent English language skills both spoken and written
Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum Bachelors degree in communications or related discipline.
• A background in communications, animation or media relations
• Relevant experience in a regulated entity
• Understanding of social media
• Experience in the not-for-profit sector
• Knowledge of the social housing sector
Working Hours - 32.75 hours per week .
Salary €35,000 - €45,000
