About UNICEF 

UNICEF is the United Nations Children’s Fund. It is the largest humanitarian and development Aid Agency for children in the world with over 20,000 staff. Each year, UNICEF delivers $7 billion in humanitarian assistance across the globe with a focus on responding to humanitarian emergencies as they occur throughout the world. The organisation also has a major development programme across health, childhood vaccinations, child protection, education, child rights and advocacy. Serving as the public face and dedicated voice of UNICEF in Ireland, the organisation works to raise funds from individuals, corporates, major donors, philanthropists and foundations in Ireland, as well as to engage with the Irish government to promote children’s rights and secure national visibility for children.
