An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Quality Professional for a mid-west based medical device company. The Quality Professional will ensure Quality System Compliance to policies and procedures while maintaining awareness of standards that regulate the industry. You will also provide compliant solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity while interacting constructively with employees, managers and cross-functional peers.

* You will contribute to the defining and timely achievement of overall project goals. In some cases, you may end up leading a project with a limited scope, but you will usually be a contributor on broader projects.
* You will provide guidance to other Professionals and Technicians - the scope will be typically limited to one specific QA function and you will ensure compliant documentation related to your area of responsibility by carrying out tasks related to your area of responsibility with management oversight.
* Risk Management - depending on your functional area you may participate in the development or modification of risk management files.
* Complaint Evaluation - depending on your functional area you may investigates complex complaints with management oversight by providing compliant solutions to a variety of complex problems.
* Design Control / Documentation & Change Control: depending on functional area you may identify areas for process improvement by providing supporting information for change including reasons and justifications.
* Quality Engineer: Depending on functional area you may coordinates quality decisions between different quality and engineering groups. This will be achieved by participating in the development or modification of validation packages, design plans, and risk management deliverables (e.g. FMEAs).

* Apprenticeship or relevant third level qualification in Life Science, Engineering, or closely related discipline is required OR relevant combination of education or experience.
* 2-3 years' work experience in Quality or related field experience. Less experience may be appropriate with an advanced degree.
* Ability to demonstrate technical and business competencies that drive results and continuous improvement.
