We have an exciting position for a Planning and Optimisation Specialist within a well established Interiors Retailer. This is a management role responsible for space planning and creation of shop plans for the stores. The successful candidate will conduct business analysis and turn it into actionable insights with the creation of planograms and layouts that optimise sales volumes.

This role will be a part of Business Planning and Improvement Team, working closely with buying and stock inventory teams. This is one of the key roles in the business, directly influencing stores’ performance and sales profits.

Role & Responsibility

  • A degree in business or data related subject
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Very good excel skills, proven experience
  • Experience in layouts and planograms an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills required as dealing with all departments
  • of the company and stores daily.
  • Ability to plan day and work under minimal supervision

Experience and Education

  • Preparing comprehensive store plans
  • Suggesting value add actions (fixtures optimisation, section changes, layout changes)
  • Conducting section reviews with buyers
  • Reviewing promotional area plans to see its impact on sections
  • Monitoring arrivals to planned changeovers
  • Managing and optimising section planograms
  • Calculating stock displays, optimising stock holding
  • Coordinating new store planning
  • Assisting implementation of planning improvements
Terms: Permanent
