This is a unique role with a great company to supervise procurement spend categories in the Latin America & AMEA regions but from Dublin.

You will:

  • Oversee procurement teams to meet global procurement needs
  • Oversee procurement function of all Latin America spend relating across multiple categories - including (Professional Services, IT, Facility Mgt., Production, Enterprise Systems & Products & Services)
  • Work with global category leads on negotiation, implementation of global agreements
  • Supervise procurement projects & wider Latin America team to ensure compliance to targets to include: identification of need, classification, discovery & sourcing strategy, drafting & managing correct procurement process, drafting & negotiating commercial terms, creating & finalising financial analysis, managing implementation & ensuring vendor is integrated into appropriate vendor mgt. program
  • Meet annual set targets including saving, cost avoidance, spend targets
  • Report globally on activity including financial & regulatory compliance
  • Manage existing LATAM/AMEA agreements, liaise with the Vendor co-ordination team
  • Manage communication, compliance tracking, CSR & compliance initiatives relative to procurement contracts implemented in this market
  • Identify & contract services under new categories of spend & maintain & develop the LATAM/AMEA Procurement Business plan in full alignment with the CPO
  • Liaise with local key stakeholders to represent procurement, advising on existing & potential procurement contracts & strategic sourcing
  • Manage the business reviews, financial budgets, planning & forecasting surrounding these agreements in conjunction with the Global Vendor Mgt. Program parameters
  • Work with the CPO & wider global procurement team to meet the wider objectives of the team
  • Develop & maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders across all business processes within the wider business environment.
Key skills needed

  • Manage Global Procurement Category Leads
  • Strong analytical & negotiation skills
  • Ability to draft contracts, RFP documents, Business plans & internal & external communications
  • Strong procurement experience & deep understanding of procurement principle & negotiation & strategy
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, on multiple projects
  • Keen eye for detail, risk analysis & financial planning
  • Ability to manage conflict both internally & with vendors
  • Strong vendor mgmt. experience
  • Clear sense of accountability & ownership

  • Degree in Business or similar
  • CIPS or IIPMM qualification or similar
