Cork Chamber is the leading business organisation for the Cork region, representing over 1,000 businesses that employ in excess of 100,000 people. The Chamber’s mission is to support and enable the promotion, development and expansion of business and commercial activity for the Cork region through its membership development and services department, international department and policy and research departments.
The Chamber occupies a vital role in leading and developing business activity and growth in the region. Through these and other functions at a regional, national and international level, Cork Chamber is dedicated to resolving the needs and challenges our members encounter and in supporting and celebrating the business and entrepreneurial successes of the Cork region.
The Chamber’s Policy & Research Department has a mandate to develop and promote policy recommendations that create an enabling business environment and support the region’s economic development. The Department represents member’s interests to government, both regionally and nationally and to other key policy influencers on a wide range of issues. In addition, the department is partner to externally funded projects.
