We are looking for a new Quality Support Technician based in Limerick.

Here is a glimpse of what your role will entail:

QC Inspection

  • Perform inspection of materials against established item-masters to determine conformity with defined specifications.
  • Utilises established procedures, tools and software to ensure that all product meets the established specifications.
  • Enters all quality data into the appropriate electronic or manual systems.
  • Provides timely feedback to Customer Contact and/or Operations Management if no-conforming product is identified.
  • Ensures QC Inspection equipment is maintained according to agreed PM schedules.
  • Ensures the QC Inspection equipment’s calibration status is properly maintained.
Program Quality Support

  • Assure the conformance of all organisation’s regulatory and quality systems requirements.
  • Verify the proper implementation and effectiveness of the applicable Regulations, Standards, Policies, Directives and Level 1 Procedures in the organisation.
  • Provide support to any are that requires help to implement and maintain regulatory and quality requirements into their process.
  • Provide operational support and guidance as required to ensure that all requirements are interpreted and implemented effectively.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for internal users in subjects related to Regulations or Quality Systems.
  • Plan and execute internal and external audits according to the Audit Plan, prepare the audit reports and maintain all audit related records.
  • Drives audit readiness program both for Flex and in conjunction with audits of the customer.
  • Ensure the Risk management process is implemented within area of responsibility, working with all Stakeholders to maintain Risk Registers up to date.
  • Manage the customer complaints process in conjunction with necessary internal and external Stakeholders.


Here is what you will need (required):

  • BA or MSc degree in a technical field such as engineering or supply chain
  • Ability to work on own initiative & high attention to detail
  • Ability to build a positive and productive working relationship with those at all levels of Flex, our customers and other relevant organisations
  • MS Office application experience
  • Quick to pick up on new processes
  • Flexibility of working hours’ essential
  • Eligible to work in Ireland
Here are a few of our preferred experiences:

  • Experience of working with ERP, WMS and SAP systems
  • Relevant experience in areas of Quality Systems or Quality Control
