Training Specialist

My client, a leader in the pharmaceutical sector is recruiting a dynamic Training Specialist to their existing busy L&D department in South Tipperary. This is initially a fixed term contract.



Responsibilities for Training Specialist

  • Liaise with other areas of the business to design and develop effective training programmes
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement
  • Support the induction and development of new hires
  • Identify and address training gaps through training needs analysis
  • Lead the implementation of training initiatives and other related projects
  • Provide support to the Head of L&D and the wider L&D team as necessary
  • Adhere to the organisational policies and operate in accordance with GMP and other regulatory requirements
Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in a Training/L&D role
  • Third Level qualification in HR/Engineering or similar relevant discipline
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies is an advantage
  • Experience in a multinational manufacturing/pharmaceutical environment
  • Working knowledge of and experience with LMS
  • Excellent stakeholder management
  • Highly organised with the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively
  • Collaborative, results-oriented team player
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • High proficiency in MS Office including advanced Excel and PowerPoint
