My public sector client is recruiting an experienced Administrative Officer to work in their Dublin City offices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance and support in investigations, reviews, complaints, etc.
  • Take statements and collect relevant information and documents
  • Take part in training and continuing professional development
  • Maintain a good knowledge of the organisation and related policies, procedures and legislation
  • Prepare meeting documentation
  • Draft case reports and plans
  • Take minutes of meetings
  • Maintain and update databases and other systems for reporting
  • Supervise and manage the work of clerical officers where necessary
  • Other related ad-hoc duties which may arise
Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in an administrative role preferably in the public sector
  • Experience in the healthcare and/or legal sector is beneficial
  • Experience with minute-taking is essential for this role
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • An understanding of the need for confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong administration skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a busy workload
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing organisational needs
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively
  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude to meet deadlines
  • Open to travelling to different locations within Ireland if required
