A great new contract role to work on behalf of the organisation to review Supplier requests for changes to the terms & conditions of contracts, assess risk of implementing changes, & recommend response
You will: - * Provide drafting & negotiating terms & conditions with Suppliers * Act as the liaison among sourcing specialists, internal stakeholders, legal & suppliers * Coordinate with Legal to negotiate contract issue resolution with Supplier, & secure final approval of the appropriate agreement * Work collaboratively with Sourcing Specialist to ensure that all contract document templates are ready for (RFPs) * Resolve & respond to contractual related Supplier issues/ questions * Meet with Legal counsel to clarify & negotiate complex sourcing contractual issues & or other supplier concerns. * Interpret contractual rights & obligations to business partner & Sourcing Specialist Contract Compliance: Ensure that current Company standard language, including updated terms & conditions & is appropriate * Manage supplier dispute resolution through formal or informal dispute resolution channels * Review & interpret Sourcing & Corporate Policy requirements * Responsible for consultation & escalation to senior management of current & potential issues.

Ability to manage multiple concurrent deliverables in a very dynamic & variable environment * understanding of procurement contract clauses & principles. * understanding of procurement contract risks & how to mitigate those risks. * Excellent contract drafting skills in areas of Statement of Work (SOW)
Education & skills
Essential: - LLB, LLM, or BCL or equivalent & ideally 3 years related experience in contract mgt sourcing Desired:- * Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) or similar * Certifications from the National Contract Management Association; Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute * Lean Six Sigma experience &/or certification
This is a minimum 9 month contract with a view to extension & a good daily rate available.
