Title: AML Specialist - Reporting into Money Laundering Reporting Officer

Location: South Dublin
Term: 12 month fixed term contract

Job Skills & Responsibilities:

  • Perform AML/CTF controls to facilitate the monitoring and authorisation of client transactions.
  • Complete daily screening of clients against defined watch lists as part of the risk assessment and approval procedures.
  • Liaise with internal teams and distributors in cross border markets to obtain necessary information to complete AML / CTF and Compliance risk assessments.
  • Obtain and document information relating to suspicious transaction reports identified as part of ongoing activity or received from staff for review and decision by the Compliance Manager.
  • Identify any weaknesses in AML/CTF and Compliance procedures and make recommendations to improve process effectiveness and efficiency as required.
  • Support the creation of AML/CTF controls for new markets as part of the Company's expansion strategy.
  • Participate in key operational committees, special projects and working parties on AML or Compliance matters.

Requirements:
Qualifications / Experience

  • Fluent in English & Italian (required) / Other EU languages (desirable).
  • Relevant 3rd Level Degree (required) and / or Industry qualification (desirable).
  • Previous experience in financial services with AML or compliance background (desirable).

  • Organised individual who can self-manage multiple priorities, routine work and urgent issues as they arise.
  • Strong team ethos with emphasis on close interaction with other team members.
  • Ability to develop and manage relationships both internally and externally.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
